Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Association of Language Teachers (KSAALT TESOL ) is the only language teacher organization of its kind offering professional development programs to English language teachers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. KSAALT was formed in 2006 with the vision of connecting language educators from across the Kingdom in a professional service organization that developed English language educators in all areas of teaching and learning, service, and research while providing a forum for networking and professional development.
KSAALT TESOL is open to language teachers across the Kingdom at any level of English language education: Any English language professional can become a member and participate.
KSAALT began its newsletter, the KSAALT Quarterly, and its first website in 2008. From that time, KSAALT has grown with annual conferences attracting several hundred participants and renowned international and national speakers since 2008. The association began offering annual miniconferences in 2009. KSAALT's first chapter was in Khobar, but it has added chapters in Jeddah, Riyadh, Yanbu, and Abha.
In 2015–2016, KSAALT will celebrate its ninth year, and we continue to grow each and every year!
