Teachers’ organization VenTESOL has played a major role in the professional development of English teachers in Venezuela. Despite economic and political adversities, VenTESOL, with the help of its Board of Directors, organizes more than 40 teacher training events each year. It has organized academic events in partnership with educational institutions, embassies, publishing houses, and all teacher training universities in Venezuela.

VenTESOL empowers all educators to train their colleagues to use innovative and meaningful strategies in their classrooms to achieve excellence in English language teaching. The impact of their efforts is felt, most importantly, by the students.
