Charge
The Diversity Committee focuses attention on inclusiveness throughout the association; identifies internal and external strategies, concerns, and recommendations to integrate inclusiveness within TESOL; aligns inclusiveness with TESOL's strategic plan; monitors and evaluates diversity efforts; and brings any issues or concerns to the board.
Responsibilities
Committee members are expected to attend the annual convention and participate in committee meetings. During the year, members provide support for ongoing projects as requested by the chair.
Qualifications
All committee members must be current TESOL members. The committee must represent the diversity of the larger TESOL membership.
