Call for TESOL-CAEP Reviewers

TESOL International Association is​ currently ​seeking current members to apply to become a TESOL-CAEP program reviewer. Applications are due 26 December 2017 and the number of reviewers is limited! 

As a volunteer program reviewer, you will lend your expertise by reviewing TESOL program reports submitted by institutions seeking accreditation in the United States by the Commission for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). All program review activity is conducted online, and reviewers are supported by staff from TESOL and CAEP.

Commitments
  • All trainings must be completed before participating in a review.
  • Participate in a 90 minute webinar for new reviewers on 25 January 2018 at 3pm ET
  • Complete a follow-up assignment demonstrating knowledge of CAEP review process
  • Attend a full-day training session on 27 March 2018 at the TESOL convention in Chicago, Illinois, USA
  • Complete CAEP's Conflict of Interest form each review cycle to indicate your availability.
  • Conduct 2–3 reviews per cycle, as assigned
  • Maintain membership in TESOL International Association
