TESOL online courses use the Desire2Learn (D2L) system hosted by the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire. To access the online course, you will need the following:
- An Internet connection.
- A Web browser. Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher, Netscape Navigator 4.7 or higher, Mozilla 1.0 or higher, or Safari 1.0 or higher.
- Your Web browser should be able to accommodate both JavaScript and Java.
- An e-mail account.
You can run a system check at https://uwec.courses.wisconsin.edu/ to ensure that your computer system is properly configured for D2L web courses.
If your system does not have the required course-specific plug-ins, you will be asked to download them.
