How Can You Join the ICIS?

To join the ICIS you must be a member of TESOL. When you join TESOL, you will be asked to select your special interest groups.

The field of intercultural communication addresses a broad range of issues of relevance to TESOL: pragmatics, classroom "culture," culture shock, biculturalism, culture-specific rhetorical style, World Englishes, and many more. In addition, aspects of IC are components of many other TESOL Interest Sections and Caucuses, including Applied Linguistics, Teacher Education, Research, Bilingual Education, and EFL.
