What Are Some ICIS Activities?

TESOL Convention in San Antonio, March 2005

The ICIS helped more than 33 presenters get on the program of TESOL's 2005 convention and offer their expertise on many topics of relevance to intercultural communication (IC). A networking reception was held for ICIS members after the open meeting for our interest section.

TESOL Convention in Tampa, March 2006

Proposal readers (volunteers from our membership) reviewed IC-related proposals for the 2006 convention. By early December the convention schedule was finalized and will soon thereafter be made available on this Web site for ICIS members. Sessions of relevance to IC will be listed to help members make their plans in advance.

Web Site Opened in June 2005

This is a new Web site for our members. As with our newsletter, updating and improving the content of this Web site depends on the contributions of our membership. If you have any suggestions or material you think should be posted on this site, please send them to our webmaster, Rebekah Muir (rebekahmuir@yahoo.com or rebekah.r.muir@nhmccd.edu). Especially welcome are photos, resources, and events of interest to our members.
