TESOL’s 12-person Board welcomes four new members, including President-Elect Yilin Sun. Dr. Sun is a tenured faculty member at
Seattle Community Colleges. She recently spent a year as a
Fulbright Scholar at
National Taiwan Normal University, Taiwan. She has been involved with TESOL International Association for more than 15 years and has also been an active member and leader with the Washington Association for the Education of Speakers of Other Languages (
WAESOL), a TESOL affiliate.
Other elected board members are Debbie Short, Academic Language Research & Training, LLC; Luciana de Oliveira, Purdue University; and Tony Silva, Purdue University.
