TESOL Submits Comments on ESSA Guidance

by David Cutler | 05/27/2016
27 May 2016 (Alexandria, VA) - TESOL International Association recently responded to the Department of Education's request for comments regarding non-regulatory guidance for the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). Non-regulatory guidance is not binding and does not impose any new requirements beyond those in the law and regulations; rather, it helps the public understand the law, explains how the Department of Education is interpreting the law, and provides clarification and examples of best practices. Please read TESOL's comments on ESSA guidance here.
