Press and Media Information 

TESOL’s 43rd Annual Convention and Exhibit, "Uncharted Mountains – Forging New Pathways,” will take place at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado, USA on March 26-28, 2009

The convention features more than 1200 lecture/discussion sessions given by 3000 speakers representing more than 25 different countries. Among the variety of topics are language testing and assessment, technology in language learning, bilingual education, education standards, and refugee/immigration concerns. In addition, the convention will feature one of the largest exhibitions of its kind in the world, with over 100 exhibitors offering some of the finest products and services for English language educators and their classrooms.

Press Registration

Members of the news media can receive complimentary admission to the convention, including plenary speeches, featured speakers, concurrent sessions, and the Exhibit Hall. Press registration does not include any meals or attendance at any ticketed events. Members of the media are responsible for making their own housing and transportation arrangements for the convention

All concurrent session content is strictly off-the-record and for reporters’ background only.

On-site press registration will available starting March 26. To register on-site, please go to the Press Desk in the Registration Area in Lobby A of the Denver Convention Center.
