Pair-Work Talk, Transitions, and Interactional Authenticity

Rather than try to discover interactional phenomena more generally, this study takes a predetermined focus on talk in an institutional context (an English-as-a-foreign-language classroom) and in particular a pair-work speaking task that constrains interaction in particular ways.
