When will TESOL's 2005 Convention and Exhibit (TESOL 2005) be held?

Convention presentations for TESOL 2005 will be in the Henry B.González Convention Center and Marriott RiverCenter and Marriott RiverWalk Hotels.

How do I register? What are the fees?
Attendee registration for TESOL's convention in San Antonio opened December 1, 2004. Registration can be done online, by fax or by mail.

How do I become eligible for the member registration rates?
Current members of TESOL are eligible for a discounted registration rate. Basic membership in TESOL is $75. Full-time student membership is $30 and requires proof of full-time enrollment. If your membership expires on or before March 31, 2005, you must renew to remain eligible for the member registration rate.

Where do I stay? (Hotel reservations)
Hotel reservations can be made online, fax or by mail. The site for booking hotel room(s) opened December 1, 2004. Rates vary from $110 to $189 and hotels are within easy walking distance from the Henry B. González Convention Center. Even though all TESOL hotels are conveniently located near the center, buses will be provided for a few of the hotels locations.

How far is the San Antonio International Airport from the TESOL convention area?
The airport is approximately 8 miles from the downtown area where convention center and hotels are located. SATRANS Airport Shuttle cost $9 one-way and $16 round trip. The average cab ride fare to downtown is $14 to $16 one-way. Visit San Antonio's Convention and Visitors Bureau Web site at http://www.sanantoniocvb.com/.
