The newsletter also recommends resources and materials, tips for classroom activities, worldwide professional and research contacts, and articles about professional experiences around the world.
Your membership in the ILGBTF Caucus will be confidential while giving you access to a network of committed professionals who are willing to work for issues that affect us on professional and personal levels.
These colleagues are dedicated to ending the prejudices and conflicts that erode the educational progress of all of our students. Your participation validates our work and lends needed monetary support.
Three years of preparation led to recognition of the lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender members of TESOL and our supporters as a provisional caucus--the first in TESOL's history. In 1997, the provisional status was removed, and we became TESOL's first full-fledged, permanent caucus. Join now--whatever your orientation--to continue our historic work of bringing lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender issues out of the closet and into the forefront of our profession.
