It is closely tied to the TESOL Program, where methods, materials, skills, observation, and teacher supervision are emphasized. Students are encouraged to make use of the diverse educational sites in the New York area for teaching and research.
International opportunities are provided through the college's TESOL MA program in Tokyo.
