Degree Offered: MA in TESOL/bilingual education.
Length of Program: 4 sessions (fall and spring semester, summer session). Students may be full-time or part-time and may begin the program at the beginning of any semester.
Program Requirements: 36 credits (18 credit hours for core courses). Competence in a language other than English is not required. Practice teaching and a thesis are not required. A comprehensive examination is not required.

Admission Requirements: The university requires an application form and goal statement, and three letters of recommendation. Nonnative speakers of English must have a TOEFL score of 550 or must successfully complete Level 5 at the Intensive English Language Program.
Tuition, Fees, and Aid: All students, US$421 per credit hour. Fees are technology and student activity, US$115 per session. Five US$550 scholarships per year are available. Graduate Teaching Assistantships and part-time teaching opportunities at Intensive English Language Program are available.
General: Students studying full time can finish in four sessions (fall, spring, summer). The program has a successful student placement rate plus high numbers of students who continue studying for a PhD at other schools. There is help with living arrangements for international students. The university is in a small, safe city environment and has a writing center for student support. This program leads to a state credential in TESOL.
Volunteer tutoring and teaching venues for practicum experiences are available.
None of this program is available via distance learning.
The university has an intensive English language program for nonnative speakers.
