The 41st TESOL Annual Convention and Exhibits will be held in Seattle, Washington, March 20-24, 2007. For information on how to submit a proposal for a TESOL convention, please review this document. The call for proposals for TESOL's 2007 submission site is open. Please check this Web site for updates. "How to Prepare a Proposal for a Paper, Report, Demonstration, Workshop, Colloquium, or Poster Session ," which provides an overview of abstract, title, and session description guidelines. The deadline date for proposals has passed; the deadline for papers was June 1, 2006 and the deadline for posters was August 1, 2006.

Topics of Interest
Participants from all TESOL contexts and related fields are invited to submit proposals. Particularly welcome are proposal related to the convention’s theme, Spanning the Globe: Tides of Change. TESOL also welcomes proposals concerning the future of the profession, especially those with a global perspective that focus on professional development, research, policies and standards, and TESOL’s mission and philosophy. TESOL also encourages presentations on research in language teaching and learning and presentations using interactive formats that engage the audience and focus on classroom practices.

Types of Proposals
TESOL invites proposals for papers, reports, demonstrations, workshops, colloquia, poster sessions, and video theater.
