TESOL Career Services helps TESOL members connect with career opportunities worldwide. Whether you are new to the field or a seasoned professional, TESOL offers a range of career resources to help members worldwide land that perfect job. TESOL offers a variety of career services to help members find a job: online Career Center, Placement E-Bulletin (PEB), the annual Job MarketPlace (JMP), TESOL Publications, and connections with affiliate associations.

Use the online Career Center and/or subscribe to Placement E-Bulletin (log in to the TESOL Web site and edit your profile to subscribe) to jump start your ESOL job search.
Interview and network at the Job MarketPlace and partake in the job search workshops. Held at TESOL's annual convention each year, the Job MarketPlace (JMP) is a critical resource for ESL/EFL job seekers. JMP has two components: an online job posting/interview scheduling module run through TESOL's online Career Center and an onsite location at the annual TESOL convention. Job seekers can view job postings, submit resumes, and schedule interviews before the convention and also during the convention at conveniently located computer stations.

Connect with your local TESOL affiliate. Supporting English language educators with regional professional information in more than 100 locations worldwide, affiliates offer conferences, newsletters, and varied membership services. By attending an affiliate event, you can network with individuals in the field who may direct you to job leads.

The TESOL Leadership Mentoring Program
This program helps underrepresented groups within TESOL become more involved in the work of the association. At the TESOL convention, the Leadership Mentoring Program (LMP) pairs selected individuals with mentors who guide recipients throughout the year as they contribute their time and expertise to TESOL and its varied activities and projects.
