The TESOL Doctoral Forum is a student-run conference held every year the day before the annual TESOL International Convention & English Language Expo. The forum provides a venue for doctoral students to
Master's level students have their own forum, called the Graduate Student Forum.
The 2012 Doctoral Forum
The 2011 Doctoral Forum will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2012, 9 am to 5 pm, in conjunction with the 2012 TESOL International Convention & English Language Expo in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. For general information on the 2012 convention, visit the TESOL convention Web page.
The organizer of the 2012 Doctoral Forum is Monica McCrory, a doctoral student from the University of Texas at Austin.
Registration
Doctoral students attend the Doctoral Forum for free, but all attendees must register. To register, fill out the TESOL Doctoral Forum registration form and return it to Monica McCrory.
Registration deadline: 18 February 2012.
Registering for the 2012 TESOL International Convention & English Language Expo does not register you for the Doctoral Forum, and registering for the forum does not register you for the convention. For information on the TESOL 2012 convention, please go to the TESOL convention Web site. You do not have to register for the TESOL convention to participate in the Doctoral Forum.
Submitting Proposals
The Doctoral Forum is open to students enrolled full or part time in programs leading to a doctorate in TESOL (or related fields) at any institution of higher learning. You do not have to be a TESOL member to participate.
The organizers are soliciting poster presentations based on doctoral research at any stage. They are interested in your research as well as the issues, challenges, and successes you had in the process.
