At its June 22-23, 2007 meeting, the TESOL Board of Directors approved the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Friends in TESOL Caucus (LGBTF) proposed name change. The Caucus is now officially the "International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Friends" in TESOL Caucus (ILGBTF)."

As a result, the name for the e-list has been changed. Please use this new e-mail address for future communications and add it to your "white list" in order to keep messages from being filtered as spam: ilgbtf-l@lists.tesol.org.

If you are accessing the e-list through the web interface (see link below), this change will not be noticeable.

TESOL's International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Friends in TESOL Caucus (ILGBTF) was created June 1995. ILGBTF believes in the creation of fair, safe, and accepting environments for students and colleagues of all sexual orientations and gender identities.

Current TESOL members are encouraged to join one primary TESOL caucus at no cost. To add additional caucuses log in to the TESOL web site, click on My Communities and review options available to you. If you are a member of ILGBTF and want to join the e-list, log into the web site and in the Member Toolbox click on My Communities.
