Get Involved! Serve on a TESOL Standing Committee!
Each year TESOL has a number of opportunities to serve on various standing committees. Service on a committee enables you to develop your leadership skills and use your expertise and experience to help guide TESOL programs, services, and publications.

Expectations and Requirements
To apply, you should
- be a member in good standing of TESOL International Association
- be willing to attend the committee's meeting at the annual TESOL convention (at your expense)
- be available throughout the year to work with the committee via email and conference call
- have some experience and/or expertise to contribute to the committee
For terms of service, please see the
individual committee's page. Terms vary in length, but they are all renewable each year.
