TESOL Introduces myTESOL, A New Networking and Professional Development Hub

by David Cutler | 05/31/2017
Alexandria, VA (31 May 2017) —TESOL International Association is proud to announce the public launch of myTESOL. Previously only available to association members, myTESOL is TESOL’s new online networking and professional development experience for English language teaching (ELT) professionals worldwide. TESOL is excited to introduce two new opportunities for professionals working at all levels and in a broad range of contexts worldwide to connect and grow with like-minded colleagues.
The myTESOL Lounge is now open to all ELT professionals at no charge. Now everyone can engage and discuss a wide range of issues facing the profession: accreditation, lesson planning, the latest research and publications, advocacy, curriculum concerns, and much more.

TESOL has also launched a paid annual subscription. Available only to ELT professionals who have never been TESOL members, the subscription will give them the opportunity to dig deeper and participate in some of the association’s other offerings. For an annual fee of US$15, subscribers will have access to the myTESOL Lounge as well as one of TESOL’s 21 formal interest sections, which are professional learning communities, and all TESOL eGroups, which are online groups that share a particular social or cultural connection.

Subscribers can explore as many interest sections as they wish simply by updating their online profile. If they like what they see, myTESOL subscribers can become full TESOL members and the $15 subscription fee will be deducted from the cost of membership.

For more information on myTESOL and the new myTESOL subscription, please visit the TESOL website or contact TESOL Professional Learning.
