TESOL Greets Visitors from South Africa (July 2007)

On July 23, TESOL staff, President-Elect Shelley Wong, and board member Brock Brady met with 28 visitors from South Africa. The TESOL presenters informed the group of the various member benefits and goals of the association.

The South African educators were visiting the United States as part of the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program; the trip was coordinated by the University of Pennsylvania.

The group's 5-week visit ended in Washington, DC on July 27.
