TESOL 201​8 Advocacy & Policy Summit: Hotel and Travel Information

​A special group rate of $240/night has been secured at the Hilton Old Town Alexandria. This special rate is limited and expires on XX May 2018, although the room block may sell out before then, so you are encouraged to reserve your room early.

Three airports serve the greater Washington, DC, metropolitan area:
  • Ronald Reagan National Airport (Virginia, about 15 ​minutes from the hotel)
  • Washington Dulles International Airport (Virginia, about ​45 ​minutes from the hotel)
  • Baltimore-Washington International Airport (Maryland, about 1 hour from the hotel)

Ground Transportation

From Washington Reagan National Airport:  Taxi, Uber, and SuperShuttle service are available. One-way taxi fares to the hotel are $25–$30. The hotel is also accessible via the Metro, located two stops from the airport and across the street from the King Street-Old Town Metro Station.

From Washington Dulles International Airport or Baltimore-Washington International Airport: Taxi, Uber, and SuperShuttle service are available. One-way taxi fares to the hotel are $60–$75. Round trip SuperShuttle fares are $65–$85.

Registration for the summit includes lunch on ​​18 and ​19 June, and the closing dinner on ​​20 June. Participants are otherwise responsible for their own meals.

If you would like to bring a guest to the closing dinner, you may purchase an additional dinner ticket for $25 when you register for the Summit.
