Main aims:
1. Practicing skimming and scanning skills in reading
2. Increasing their anticipation skills (through word-guessing activity)
Subsidiary aims:
1. Reinforcing students’ comprehension skills through speaking.
2. Exposing them to some vocabulary items they are responsible for in the exam such as “mediator, order, engaging and excel at” through reading text.
3. Adapting an interesting text, out of the students’ reading books and implementing it in the classroom.
