All prek-12 English language professionals are welcome! Join TESOL and a host of ELT experts for a full day of practice-oriented sessions that focus on concrete ways to increase student engagement.

From advocacy to culture and content-area instruction, gain new strategies, tools, and resources to help your English learners succeed.

All sessions will be recorded and available within 2 business days to registrants. You must register by 16 September to join the live event and receive the recordings.

Amplifying Our Students' Voices!

Every student has something magical to say, and it’s up to us as teachers to amplify our students’ voices!  In this conversation, we will explore engaging practices that push multilingual learners to develop their voices and put them to good use in service to causes they believe in. 

John Arthur is the 2021 Utah Teacher of the Year and National Teacher of the Year Finalist.  He is a National Board Certified 6th grade teacher at Meadowlark Elementary, a Title I school in Salt Lake City.  He is also an adjunct professor in the Graduate School of Education at Westminster College.
