TESOL International Association Announces 2016 Award Recipients

NEWS For Immediate Release

Alexandria, VA (29 March 2016)TESOL International Association announces the recipients of its 2016 awards. TESOL annually provides more than 80 awards through its Awards, Grants, and Honors Program. Nearly 100 TESOL members support the program as award application reviewers.

The recipients named here are being recognized for their service to the association and/or scholarship in the field of English language teaching. The award recipients will be honored at the 2016 TESOL International Convention & English Language Expo, 5–8 April in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.

The 2016 award recipients are

TESOL previously announced the 2016 recipients of the James E. Alatis Award for Service to TESOL, TESOL President’s Award, TESOL Award for Distinguished Research, and TESOL Teacher of the Year.

TESOL also awards scholarships and travel grants to enable TESOL members to attend the annual TESOL Convention & English Language Expo. Sponsors of those awards include Betty Azar, ETS, Eastern Carolina University, and the English Language Institute, University of Pittsburgh.
