TESOL Welcomes New Affiliates

TESOL International Association welcomes three associations to its network of global affiliates. TESOL will recognize these new affiliates at its upcoming TESOL 2016 International Convention & English Language Expo in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.

  • The Honduran English Teachers’ Association (HELTA), established in 2014, is a growing association primarily serving secondary school teachers. The association holds its next conference 19–20 August 2016 in La Ceiba, Honduras. HELTA is currently lead by president Grazzia Maria Mendoza Chirinos.
  • IATEFL Poland, founded in 1991, is an established association of more than 500 members. The association is holding its 25th Jubilee IATEFL Poland Conference 16–18 September 2016 in Szczecin, Poland. IATEFL Poland is currently led by president Joanna Leszkiewicz.
  • The Moldova English Teachers’ Association (META) was established in 2003. META’s 2016 conference is being held 2–3 April 2016 in Chisinau, Moldova. META is currently led by president Irina Pomazanovschi.
