TESOL International Association joined over 50 organizations in a letter to President Trump outlining the benefits of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and the consequences of ending it. The letter, initiated by the
Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities, highlights the 800,000 young adults who depend on their DACA status to live, work, and study in the United States, along with the possibility of losing $60 billion in tax revenue if DACA is ended by the president.
