TESOL International Association is currently seeking experienced online instructors for several certificate and teacher development online courses for summer, fall, and winter sessions in 2020–2021.
Minimum Qualifications
- MA in TESOL or related field
- 5 years of English teaching experience
- 3 years of experience teaching online courses
- Proven record of successful online/e-learning facilitation
- 3 years of experience in teacher training/professional development
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to work with educators with varied English proficiency levels and varied levels of digital literacy
- Strong intercultural communication skills
Helpful Qualifications
- Prior experience teaching American English E-Teacher courses
- Experience teaching short-term TESOL TESL/TEFL certificate programs
- EFL teaching experience in developing regions
- Teacher development experience for an audience at the B1-B2 CEFR level (intermediate proficiency)
- Experience in low-bandwidth, low-resource contexts
- Prior experience as an English Language Fellow/Specialist or Peace Corps Volunteer
