Consumer Protection Agency Project

TESOL is working with the Consumer Protection Agency of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) on a community service project to provide information on fraud-related issues. Statistics show that non-English speakers are the most frequent victims of consumer fraud. TESOL is providing this community partnership because ESL educators can use the free FTC materials to create lesson plans and class activities, especially for adult learners.
