The TESOL 2024 International Convention & Expo will be held at the Tampa Convention Center and the Tampa Marriott Water Street hotel in Tampa, Florida, USA.

Reserving a room in the TESOL room block is an important way to support the association and ultimately keep overall meeting costs as low as possible.

The housing demand in Tampa for the TESOL 2024 International Convention & Expo has exceeded expectations and hotel room availability is now limited.  Please check back if you do not see your hotel of choice listed as availability is subject to change.

The 2024 TESOL International Convention & Expo Housing Partner, Showcare Event Solutions, will accept new hotel reservations, changes, and cancellations until 5 PM US ET on Thursday, 22 February 2024. It is recommended that you book accommodation early in order to take advantage of the special room rates that are subject to availability (rooms may be sold out prior to this date). 

The reservations will be transferred to the hotels on Wednesday, 28 February 2024. To ensure the hotels have the most up-to-date information, we ask that all hotel cancellations and changes be made by 5 PM ET on Thursday, 22 February 2024.

Guarantee & Deposit Policy

All hotel rates are quoted in USD and exclude tax. Hotel room rates are subject to applicable taxes that are in effect at check-in time. A credit card is required for each reservation and must have an expiration date on or after August 2024. Your room is not reserved if you do not provide a valid credit card. The hotels may charge a one-night room & tax deposit using the credit card on file with Showcare Event Solutions prior to check-in. Each guest must present a valid credit card or an approximate amount of cash for subsequent room nights and incidental charges for the entire stay upon check-in.

Housing Confirmation

You will receive an email from your hotel with your confirmation number approximately 2 weeks prior to arrival. If you do not receive it, please check your spam folder before contacting your hotel.

All cancellations or changes must be made online by re-accessing your housing account on or before 5 PM US ET on Thursday, 22 February 2024.

No cancellations or changes will be made between Thursday, 22 February 2024, and Wednesday, 28 February 2024, while reservation information is being prepared and transferred to the hotels. Cancellations or changes as of Wednesday, 28 February 2024, must be made directly with the hotels. Change requests will be made on a space-available basis.

Cancellation requests received by the hotel 72 hours or less prior to arrival and no-shows will forfeit the one-night room & tax deposit, and the rest of the stay will be cancelled. TESOL is not responsible for no-shows or early departure fees charged by the hotels or rooms resold due to non-arrival.

TESOL takes no responsibility should a room preference not be available at check-in. Please visit the hotels’ websites for check-in and check-out times.

Please beware of housing piracy companies. They are contacting delegates/sponsors to book rooms through their channels and claiming they control the rooms for the Convention. They do not. These companies charge non-refundable deposits from the moment you book their rooms, thus making it impossible for delegates to cancel their reservations. Sometimes, rooms are not booked, but payment has been made. The Convention website is the only way to register for the Convention and book hotel accommodation.
