WVTESOL 25th Annual Conference Virtual and In-Person Marshall University, Huntington, WV Conference Theme: Impacts of TESOL Education: Crossing National, Social, Linguistic and Cultural Boundaries Due to the extraordinary times of the recent pandemic, our conference theme reflects the increasing inequality and inequity in second/foreign language teaching and learning and recognizes the challenges that both domestic and international TESOL communities are facing. Presentation proposals related to our conference theme as well as ALL aspects of TES/FL are welcome, including (but not limited to) recent applied linguistics/TESOL research, assessment, professional development/workshops, effective teaching demonstrations, language policy and advocacy, and Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL). Please consider submitting your ideas. We hope to see you at our 2023 WVTESOL Conference. Conference Format Sessions may be presented online -details will be provided about the platform to be used for online presentations or in-person at East Hall, Marshall University in Huntington, WV. As sessions vary in format and length, presenters are advised to state their preference and the relevance of their presentation to the conference theme or sub-theme. Where a preference cannot be accommodated, the Conference Committee will offer the presenter an alternative format.
