by TESOL International Association |

TESOL International Association and TESOL affiliates joined with over 100 other associations in calling for the U.S. Departments of Education and Labor (ED and DOJ) to reinstate the recently rescinded federal guidance on the civil rights and education requirements of public schools in serving multilingual learners of English (MLEs) and their families. The National English Learner Roundtable, a consortium of associations supporting MLEs, submitted the letter to ED and DOJ Friday, 12 September 2025.
