TESOL International Association Launches Innovative ELT Edtech Toolkit for English Language Educators

by Gwynn Mason, Director, Marketing & Communications |

Alexandria, Va. (July 17, 2025) – TESOL International Association is pleased to officially unveil the ELT Edtech Toolkit: Edtech for English Teaching Excellence, a powerful new subscription-based resource designed to help English language educators discover and integrate cutting-edge technology tools that enhance teaching and learning.

Created in collaboration with award-winning professor and edtech expert Brent Warner, the dynamic ELT Edtech Toolkit addresses one of the most common challenges faced by educators today: keeping up with ever-changing technology while being expected to do more with less time and fewer resources.

“The toolkit was built with the needs of real teachers in mind—especially those who want to use technology more effectively but don’t have hours to research and test tools,” said Warner. “It’s curated, practical, and regularly updated to keep up with evolving technology.”

The toolkit features:

  • More than 100 edtech tools, vetted and categorized for English language teaching
  • Searchable filters based on language skills, platform, and price range
  • Quick-start guides and practical classroom applications for every tool
  • Updates twice a year to keep pace with emerging technologies

Each resource page is designed to help teachers go beyond product features to understand how a tool can enhance instruction—whether for lesson planning, grading, language practice, or productivity. Alternative tool options and links to additional resources are also included.
