Events

Join Us!

With thousands of attendees, hundreds  of education sessions, and 50+ exhibits, the TESOL International Convention & English Language Expo is the largest professional development event in the TESOL field.

The Convention offers professional development opportunities to English language educators at all levels from around the world. In lively interactive sessions, educators develop a global perspective through the exchange of ideas and practices. Participants integrate knowledge of current trends in the field while developing a professional network.

The English Language Expo, the largest of its kind, provides the opportunity to showcase your latest products, publications, software, and ESOL teaching tools to more than 6,500 international TESOL professionals through our innovative networking and exhibiting platform.

Gain added exposure and stand out from competitors by combining TESOL’s advertising, sponsorship, and exhibiting opportunities and reach leaders in the profession—program directors, ESL/EFL instructors and educators, and most influential people throughout the field.

To ensure your success and increase your bottom line, we have created a dynamic virtual exhibit hall, and an array of highly effective advertising and brand‑building opportunities to ensure maximum visibility. You are invited to be part of the most highly regarded and attended meeting of the year.

The Forum for Graduate Students allows emerging English Language professionals to share their research results, teaching experiences, and to network with other graduate students and faculty members.

TESOL offers two graduate student conferences the day before the annual TESOL International Convention & English Language Expo: the Master's Student Forum and the Doctoral Research Forum. These forums enable students to

  • Share their research results, teaching ideas and experiences, and teaching materials
  • Meet and network with graduate students and faculty from other universities
  • Participate in the TESOL convention without having to compete with experienced professionals for time on the convention program
  • Gain experience organizing a conference, adjudicating proposals, and other professional activities
