- identify unity in a paragraph

- identify irrelevant ideas in a paragraph

- write supporting sentences in unity

- identify parts of a paragraph (topic/supporting/concluding sentence)

Procedure: The procedure of the lesson is provided step by step in the lesson plan below. 
Assessment: The teacher encourages students to reflect on their understanding of the lesson and share their ideas on how good their performance was during the class.
