Leadership Opportunities

TESOL is an organization of volunteers, so its success depends upon the initiative of leaders to share their vision for the field, stay informed on trends and concerns, inform others, and generate interest and collaboration among members. Serving in a leadership capacity for the association offers a unique opportunity for personal and professional growth.

Become a Reviewer, Submit Proposals, or Apply for Awards

TESOL has several volunteer opportunities to become a reviewer for convention session proposals, awards, and grants. Serving the association as a reviewer ensures that TESOL is providing the most innovative and in-demand sessions at the annual convention, and also recognizing important contributions to the field.

Additionally, TESOL offers the opportunity for both members and non-members to submit proposals for convention sessions, awards, and grant opportunities. See below for more information on reviewer, proposal, and award opportunities.
