Easy World of English (EWE)
Easy World of English (EWE) is a FREE interactive website that was created to help English Language Learners improve their grammar, listening, comprehension, and pronunciation skill, as well as enhance students' vocabulary.
Audience: Adult, Secondary, University
Audience Language Proficiency: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
Materials And Technology:
All grammar lesson have downloadable PDF files of the exercises. Reading Level 1 and Reading Level 2 also have a downloadable exercises to help students with listening comprehension and writing. Pronunciation and the interactive picture dictionary are meant for listening and repeat exercise.
Objective:
Easy World of English targets four key areas:
- Grammar structure
- Reading comprehension
- Pronunciation
- Vocabulary acquisition
Outcome:
- Flexible online English language program that allows students to learn at their own pace.
- Extensive multi-level, reading, writing, grammar, and listening exercises to enable students to improve their English language skills.
Teachers need to review the materials of the lesson(s) they would like to teach. All the materials are posted online. If teachers want to teach or reinforce a grammar point they need to review the particular grammar point or the topic of the reading they would their students to learn.
