A fairly quick and easy presentation assignment for any level of ESL student.  Includes a rubric.  Useful for teaching proper presentation skills.

Resource Type: Assessment

Audience: Secondary, Adult

Audience Language Proficiency: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced

Duration: 4-6 minute presentation per student

Objective:

Grammar, Speaking, Vocabulary, and Writing Assessment 

Type of Assessment Tool: The included rubric assesses content, vocabulary, grammar, comprehensibility, creativity, quality of PowerPoint, and following directions. 
Area to be Assessed: Grammar, Speaking, Vocabulary, Writing
Assessment Procedure: Present the assignment and allot sufficient time in your lessons to accomplish the objectives.  During the presentation, in addition to the teacher using the rubric for each student, the students can peer- and self-assess as well.
