TESOL International Association joined NAFSA, UCIEP, and EnglishUSA in a letter responding to the Joint Statement of Principles released by the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Department of Education on July 26, 2021. The group’s letter applauds the renewed U.S. commitment to international education and strongly recommends the inclusion of post-secondary, accredited English language programs in these efforts. TESOL is eager to support the current administration in its efforts to strengthen international education.
